The December show for Lucky 13 Saloon was rescheduled to March 4 at 930p; originally we postponed the show because Rob was sick (non-Covid related), and then the original replacement date got cancelled by the club (Covid-related), but that wasn’t the end of the adventure. The wednesday before the show, Angel had an accident at home and broke his calcaneus and wrist, making him unable to play. So an emergency replacement was found, who happened to be band friend and excellent drummer Dave Brooks of the band Honor Among Thieves. Dave came in for hours of rehearsals, and on friday he was ready for the set! Then, Chris arrived late due to a breakdown on the subway, so Rob sang M.I.A. and the band did an old jam number of theirs from several years ago that kept everyone going until Chris arrived in time for Dangerish Zone. It was actually a great night at Lucky 13, with Das Moose, The Buddy System, and TV After Dark also hitting the stage that night. What could have been a disaster ended up being a great rocking night!
