On May 1, we opened the night for three bands at Mr. Berry’s in Bethpage, our first show in Nassau County! Following was Naked Chicken Taco and DemonScar, to whom we are grateful for inviting us to play on this night. It was a fun venue, with a good solid rock crowd, and all three bands played great. We honored the occasion by playing Happiest Hour for the first time, a song we had been working on for quite a while through the transitions of personnel over the past couple years. In the crowd tonight we were happy to see Bill Cusanelli, who sang on the Whisky & Iron EP, along with some other friends who hadn’t been to an OP79 show since we last played in Manhattan! A good night for all.
